You can enable the following fields for gift card products: recipient email, recipient name (optional), message (optional), and send date (optional).
Customers can send the gift card with a personalised message either immediately after purchase or schedule it for a specific date. Scheduled gift cards are typically delivered between 4:00 am and 10:00 am in the customer’s timezone.
The recipient receives an email with the message and gift card code, while the customer gets a confirmation once it’s been sent.
To create a gift card product in your Shopify store, follow these steps:
- Access your Shopify admin panel.
- Go to Products > Gift Cards.
- Click "Add Gift Card Product," fill in the settings, and then click "Save."
To adjust further gift card settings or update them, follow these steps:
- Access your Shopify admin panel.
- Navigate to Settings > Gift Cards.
- Click "Edit" and choose your desired custom gift card settings.
- Click "Save."
